Very cute! I'm having a bit of trouble with watercolors. I need real watercolor paper maybe. All my paper buckles like crazy and I'm left with a rolling piece of BLECK. What did you use here?
I use blocks of arches hot press watercolor paper. I used to feel like I couldn't do watercolors anymore until I found it. It's pricey, but really good! Also thanks!
Is it necessary to tape it down before you use it? I'm using canson brand, and it really stinks.
Thanks for the help!
If it's in block form you don't have to tape it down but if it's individual sheets or a pad with loose pages then yeah, its better to tape it down. There's usually a little buckling no matter what but as long as you wait until it's completely dry to take the tape off or to take it off the block it shouldn't stay that way. I'm not a huge fan of canson's watercolor papers either.
Ah, I understand now. Thanks! (Deleted comment)
Ah! that is absolutely adorable! I like how your style reflects the setting of the picture. Soft and cold. | |
